Day Nine!

Look how big they are getting! Have I mentioned how fast they grow?!? They are developing white patterns on their bodies.

Day One!

How fitting that our caterpillars should arrive this morning, on the day before Earth Day!
They arrived safe and sound, and some are crawling around already after their long journey.

Butterflies and Flowers

Today, it was over 80 degrees!

Today, after some poking around I ordered butterflies as my 7 year old son keeps requesting! We are excited, I really hope it all works out as well as possible, it should be so much fun.

I also took him outside today to plant sunflower seeds. My son really likes sunflowers, and we had an old cooler that I broke the lid off of and we filled it with dirt and used as a planter. My son's job was to push the seeds into the dirt and to spray with water afterwards.

All in all, a nice afternoon with him!

True Story!

Today, I treated my youngest daughter to some yummy Olive Garden, and mama/daughter time in celebration for her fabulous grades (almost all year straight A's)!
We had a fabulous time, we really did, and of course the food was awesome. Yumm..



Later, after we were home, after developing a nasty headache, my poor girl threw it all up :(
Yuck...
